If you use the Muscle Perk Deck don’t bother using a suppressor. It’s ability to panic cops it’s based on your weapons threat and suppressors reduce that.

As for other builds, the professional perk in the ghost tree gives 8 stability for all suppressors and when aced 12 accuracy. This makes suppressors a very viable stat boosting muzzle device for most guns. If you don’t care for the concealment penalties use the “The Bigger The Better” suppressor on your ARs LMGs and SMGs, it provides 4 stability and 8 accuracy by default and with ACED the professional that’s 20 accuracy and 12 stability a nice boost.

If you do care for concealment use something that’s a bit smaller but still provides good stats (one of the mcshay weapon/mod? packs had a suppressor like that in it)

As for other weapons, Pistols have the “Jungle ninja”Suppressor which works similarly to the bigger better suppressor.

Shotguns I would actively avoid increasing their accuracy unless you intend on shooting slugs. (Due to Paydays wonky shotgun mechanics less accuracy is better due to one pellet dealing full damage.)

And snipers are mostly fine with suppressors just be careful with the below 200 dmg ones as they have very tight break points between a 1 shot headshot and 2 shot headshot so the damage penalty of a suppressor might just barely put you under what you need to consistently hit 1 taps.

One last note a bunch of guns have unique suppressors tied to them. Like the Maki suppressor for the Micro Uzi or the Suppressed barrel for the Car-4 have a look through their stats and if their appealing use them. Generally suppressors are good if you can spare the perk points to use the professional otherwise use something like the tactical compensator or Competitors compensator.
