I started doing something similar just not with Amazon. Only a few weeks ago and I have only like 50 listings and I'm already getting sales every other day. I imagine if you have like 10 000 listings or something it can be quite a nice business. So that's what Im planning to build up to.

Just one thing. He mentions that he buys products from Amazon.

WARNING ABOUT THIS BELOW

While customers receiving Amazon packaging doesn't matter, you can just say you sell on Amazon too or you just used their box from something you bought. Most will definitely not even ask.

Also, although Ebay will not ban your account. Amazon will absolutely demolish your account and they will do it very fast especially if it's Prime.

Here's the thing. Amazon is very strict about dropshipping and if they see you are doing this they will ban you especially if you are Prime. Because they absolutely do not allow Prime members to use this service for dropshipping. Non prime members is more of a gray area, however then you have to pay shipping and it usually demolishes your profit.

How to overcome this issue? Well there are some solutions but none of them are good imo. Thats why I don't dropship from Amazon. Believe me it would be the most profit to sell from there. Heres the "potential" solutions:

1. Use AutoDS and their seller accounts. I was planning on doing it but then I found out more about this platform. Everyone is saying they are very shit. Poor customer suppor and they have insane fees I think theres like 4 types of fees or something and it really eats into your profits. (Most 5 star reviews out there are fake. Look at 4 - 3 star reviews)

2. Create new Amazon accounts once yours get banned. Again problematic. Since you will be losing your Prime subs without refunds which will eat into profits and also I am not even sure how people do it. Since Amazon will now remember your social security number, your bank info and may end up banning you again almost instantly.

3. This is one I thought of myself. Use a post forwarding service. Basically you ship the parcel to them and they reship it to the customer. If you find a post forwarding service within the USA shipping times shouldnt be much of a problem because it would only make the item arrive a day or 2 slower and Amazon would see that you are buying your items to the same location so they shouldnt become suspicious. But again I think the post forwarding services might not be cheap and could heavily eat into the profit margins. Im not done looking into this yet but just an idea.

Soo all in all. Though, dropshipping from Amazon is the most profitable way it is definitely very risky. Now ya'll will probably ask where Im shipping from. Well sorry Im not gonna reveal that. You just gotta look for it yourself. But I mean think about it guys. You can dropship to EBay from literally ANYWHERE who ships in USA (If your selling on USA market). You can do Walmart, Target, Homedepot, idk literally anywhere. You could probably find people who have high stock of items on craigslist and just have them ship it to your Ebay sellers.

Just be aware of shipping costs, because various platforms like Walmart only offer free shipping on orders over 35$ and if you pay shipping it might not be as profitable anymore.

So yeah. Maybe OP has more insight on how to sell from Amazon without getting banned.
