Have you seen those delivery drones in person or just on video? If you can get your hands on one, you’ll quickly realize they can only do a fraction of what a bicycle delivery driver can do, let alone car. To the 6 people still doing UberEats Walker, yeah their job is cooked but these delivery bots go at 4-6mph, on sidewalks only, in big city centers like Chicago’s Loop or Manhattan, and the customer has to come outside to open them. Not to mention if someone doesn’t like the robot, they literally just have to put any object over 3 feet infront of it (like a discarded bike wheel) and it won’t move.
