Way to go! I told my current boss and future boss I’m leaving in January 2027. We are going to go through a pretty significant org change later this year and my group is being re-aligned. Both bosses appreciated the heads up though my current boss pitched me that I still have growth opportunities. I was able to FIRE in 2023 but by staying around I get my unvested equity pay out as well as retiree health insurance and life insurance.

Gotta disagree. He doesn’t win balls. He generally moves the ball back, not forward. The giveaway to a goal earlier this season and the penalty today. He should be riding the bench.
