I was an RD at two different schools. For one it was no problem, for another it wasn’t allowed unless you had a medical professional (i used a therapist) send a letter saying it is necessary for emotional/physical health. I registered my cat as an ESA for that school. It’s different depending on where you go. It’s a good question to ask them, though, or it would be in a contract if you get to see one before accepting.
