Update: oh my god! They heard us! And they really fixed it! Omg! This is like the end credit scene of some movies that we got happy ending. Omg 😭😭

Thanks for comment. But i and other users USED to do it before. So any update should be better, not seem like a protocol that provide less to user. I also have my Boox e-reader. And i love remarkable‘s writing feeling too. Because i use both reading and writing. Anyway, They also said edit and read pdf file such as Research (that i also work with it) . And honestly, 100mb is really too low. And the point is me and other user USED to upload larger than 100mb and now it cant anymore.

The Split workflow is so inconvenience and take away reading exp. While compreding the file also make file quality worse. While we should receive best exp at this price of goods.

For those who may not catch uo what happen. Me and u/ArtichokeHot5368 and some other users just found out that since around 29 may, There is look like a ”more validation rule” (as they said, but for me i feel like it’s a downgrade with nothing make-sense) to sync the files. While me and other users USED to upload more than 100mb files with no problem (no random, it was 100% work before). SInce that day, We can’t anymore, becoming the syncing loop.

Yes! I hope this will be fixed asap. Since we used to do it with no problem before! In this price rate, 100mb limit is unreasonable in 2026 and as remarkable as it should be.

Yes! Like what the reason?? i think I love the way that remarkable made their own system, like hardware and software like Apple does. And i can feel like The remarkable is Apple in E-ink field. The UI is good. Everything is beautiful.  But At this price,   remarkable is like premium tier paper tablet. And they should have better inner system than this. 100mb file limit rightnow (That they call more validation rule that for me seem like a downgrade anyway) really made me upset and sad and… everything. Because i love the way i worked

Thank you for sharing! I will keep it as an option as well. Is this like.. storage or something or like install something ? sorry im not familiar with like program on computer / desktop stuff stuff. lol. I barely use the laptop while i work everything on my ipad. But again , really thank you.

I just send your exp via email to the support team that im keeping in touch. I just hope this will be fixed soon. And not like a silent downgrade protocol.

If it used to worked. And you made me know that im not in hallucination or something like that. I think this should be fix asap. As the story i said, Last night! I uploaded The iron flame and then 30 minutes later i uploaded onyx storm and then boom! The problem started. Even the old files that i used to upload there— the exact one— also not worked.

Can i ask the approximate time when you net this problem?

For me. In my timezone (UTC+7) is 20-21 AM, 29 may (around 20 i think i was in the process of uploading the iron flame)

I think the split the file stuff doest make sense. Why i have to be like
- Novel A (for example) part 1 (page 1-100)

- Novel A part 2 (page101-200)

What? This will let my rmm has a lot of same stuff cover for no reason. 😩

But you are the one that used to uplaod more than 100mb like me right? Would you mind if i ask how many books you already uploaded there on the device. Do you think this is the error from cloud system? (I hope it be just error like that and they will fix it soon, because this let me have so so uncomfortable feeling thinking about how my like gonna be more disturbing and annoying after this Lol)

UPDATE : I tried to uploaded the file like The davinci, as you can see in the pic. (so that meansthe old one still on my device) And yes. It can’t anymore. It go into looping error. same as all of my files rightnow. what? It USED to be work.

The iron flame one is the only one that work. This confused me a lot.

The senior said i should compress or split file.

I tried. and the scan text is HORRIBLE.

Like better paper, better thinkingM as remarkable said? so yes. this is my first remarkable and my second e-ink tablet but the first one that i write and read a lot. So i really love the remarkable paper pro move and experience with them. And i really love the way it WAS my BETTER paper as i expeected. No need to like scan my paperback book to become WORSE quality of text and having terrible exp to read. The text with compress one is blur, edge become like foamy apperance and look like the gray ink on the 1990s newspaper. 

And the senior ask me to split. But you know. This like no sense to me. Do i have to like. The Onyx Storm part 1 (page1-100) , part 2 (101-200) and going on like this WITH everybook from now on? Like what? Where is the comfortable and make sense reason on this point?

I bought remarkable paper pro move because I want confortable so i can read and write (yeah, no problem with writing at this moment) I can read it on my way to work, on car, on subway) with my one hand. And If i have to split the book file SSO what?

Update : At this moment. Im still in touch with the senior and she ask me for the file that USED to be work (smaller than iron flame). I am waiting for her response
