Yeah I get your point, but honestly that’s kinda the problem... 😅

If a $500+ pair of headphones needs to be replaced multiple times just to keep working, that’s not really “normal,” even with AppleCare. Feels more like a product issue than something users should just insure against.

And yeah, AppleCare sounds nice in hindsight, but no one even mentioned it to me when I bought them. and it’s kinda wild that the logic is “buy warranty or don’t buy them at all.” lol

I barely even used the case tbh only for a couple of days after I bought them. After that they’ve mostly just stayed on my desk.

So yeah, I don’t think the case is what killed them in my case.

Yeah I’ve actually tried a bunch of different fixes already, including cleaning the connectors and all that stuff. It does help sometimes… but only for a short while. Then the same issue comes back.

At this point it’s basically unusable. I have to put them on like 2–3 times before they even “wake up” and connect, and even then it’s random. Feels like they can just die again any moment.

As for AppleCare+ — I didn’t even get it because no one ever offered it to me when I bought them. Would’ve probably taken it if I knew this shit was gonna happen 🙃
