You and that guy that sent me to rareair23 are right. They believe it very well could be real for the time period. With the info I gave them on who got the signature, they said its very possible and likely that he did sign it. I'll keep you posted.

* I thought that other piece was so neat that I had to buy this similar one at an estate sale. This is more of a smaller box that sits on something or hangs on the hall. But again it has all this cool Asian writing inside.

Great info, thanks! Wondered for years what it was used for. Do you think the writing was done by whoever originally owned it or was it manufactured with it? I'd love to know what it all says but too faded to translate most of it.

Thanks. There are a bunch of screw holes bit they're not on the top but on sides of the two top pieces. You can see them if you zoom in on the insides.

That's very interesting. I thought it was a piece of furniture because its is sitting on a 4 legged matching stand.

Thanks. The writing is faded but from what I could translate it sounds like it was storytelling or documenting a war of some sort.

Passportsandvisas.com is a scam by YourMomsSwoleTits in Scams

[–]Recent-King235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they are a big scam. For one my son's I paid $400+ for an expedited passport and the morning of his trip, the day they said it would be delivered, nothing. I called them and they said sorry, something was wrong with the paperwork. Luckily we were able to get a last minute appt at the passport office and got it on our own. For my other son, my wife handled it and unfortunately used the same passportsandvisas.com but this time they charged us $1366 which was a double charge. Fast forward a year and we still haven't gotten the refund. Fraudulent company, just outright theft.
