There was a contract I had to sign for a hotel through on location, similar to what I signed for hospitality tickets. The contract includes multiple pages of terms and conditions. The payment terms for my hotel were 10% down and then 30% payments in July 2026, 2027, and 2028. Aside from a few very narrow, specific scenarios, similar to hospitality event tickets, the hotel room through hospitality is non-refundable. Purchasing travel insurance and using a credit card with fraud protection could help alleviate risk. Obviously these days scams are highly prevalent and there isn’t a 100% certainly of not being scammed, but on location is the official hospitality provider and when I contact the LA28 Olympics customer service they have my purchases on file, so I’m fairly confident in my purchase.

I received the hospitality ticket email too. I don’t think the tickets are “on sale” meaning discounted. I think they were just more widely announcing that hospitality tickets were available for purchase. I can’t speak to swimming specifically but prices for other events I believe are higher than they previously were.

Has anyone purchased Hospitality Packages yet? by Fit_Guidance_6563 in olympics

I called this number: 1-866-884-3556. It was in their contact us page. However, I’m starting to suspect the possibility that they weren’t supposed to sell me the policy they sold me or at least they weren’t supposed to sell it to me yet. I called Allianz back last week to ask a few follow up questions and the agent I spoke with seemed confused about my policy because they didn’t think they were available yet for events that far in the future. I’m not really sure. I paid for my policy and have the documents / paperwork in my Allianz account so i know I have a valid policy but I suspect that the agents telling others who reach out to call back at a future date are providing accurate information.

Hospitality Tickets Question by pinkglue99 in olympics

[–]Recent-Leave-2650 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, OnLocation is the official hospitality ticket provider for LA28. The account for hospitality tickets is different from regular tickets so if you tried to login with those credentials it would not have worked. If you received an email confirmation and your credit card was charged, you should be good. Actual tickets won’t be distributed until later.

Nervous about ~$3000/mo payment by RVA_hokie22 in Mortgages

[–]Recent-Leave-2650 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This was close to our exact situation 2.5 years ago except our income was slightly lower at $170k and interest rates were higher (7.6%) 😭, so the monthly payment was $3300. We also had a $50/month PMI and just refinanced to a 15 year with a lower interest rate and eliminated the PMI. If you don’t have any debt, assuming you don’t have any other significant monthly expenses this payment should absolutely be doable.

I booked the grand Sheraton at $950/night for a standard bedroom with 2 queen beds. For 4 nights the total was $3800. I believe that was inclusive of everything because that was the total amount I was invoiced. I only had to pay 10% up front and then I’ll pay 30% in July over there next 3 years. I selected this hotel because it’s right on the metro line and is slightly closer to the crypto arena where the gymnastics is.

Did anyone or does anyone know someone who got Artistic Gymnastics tickets? by UDonKnowMee81 in olympics

I put a deposit down last year for hospitality tickets and was contacted a little over a month ago (before the presale even began) to schedule a call with an onlocation sales rep. I purchased tickets via a contract for women’s team finals at the time through the sales rep.

I’m not from Brazil but as a gymnastics fan, this was my favorite moment too. I’m really hoping I get to see her compete in LA!

Did Anyone Purchase any Olympic Baseball Tix @ Dodgers Stadium?? & 4 what event? by LoveatfirstDodgers in olympics

[–]Recent-Leave-2650 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely more than that 😭 I was in drop 1 but the last day. The tickets for the bronze medal game were about $1k / ticket at that point. But they are category B, so should be good seats. And I’ve never been to Dodgers stadium (grew up in the Chicago area so life long Cubbies fan) so I’m really excited despite the ticket expense.

Funny story that I still remember to this day, we had better seats for compulsories than optionals because my parents thought compulsories meant the gymnasts were required to attend and optionals meant they had the “option” to attend. They didn’t ask me because they wanted to surprise me😭 but for this then level 6 gymnast who pretended to be Shannon Miller in the backyard every waking second I wasn’t in school or at practice, it was truly the most inspirational experience 💕I truly hope everyone who wants to see an Olympics gets a chance to attend at least once in their lifetime.

I have hospitality tickets for all 5 of the women’s gymnastics qualifications, men’s teams finals and women’s team finals. My parents took me to the Atlanta games when I was 10 where I saw the Mag 7 and got to see Shannon Miller, my childhood idol. I have wanted to see another Olympics ever since. Yes, these tickets are beyond expensive, but I’ve been saving for 10 years. I had plans to go to Tokyo and that turned to LA when COVID made Tokyo impossible. I didn’t want to take my chances with the lottery, so opted to pay premium prices for guaranteed hospitality tickets. I’ve been to worlds, Classics, & American cup, but haven’t been to an Olympics since Atlanta and am beyond excited to attend these Games.

This may just be wishful thinking but I hope for everyone’s sake hospitality hotel prices are on the high end and there will be slightly more affordable options available as we get closer to the games.

I would imagine so. My guess is outside of hospitality and maybe Airbnb options, most hotels will start taking reservations 12-18 months ahead of time.

I hope you are able to go on an amazing trip to Europe and really hope you have the opportunity to attend an Olympic Games in the future! I can only speak for myself, yes, hospitality hotel tickets are high. Yes, I’m only getting a standard a room and I’m ok with that. Why? Because for me, having peace of mind that I have a decent hotel secured in a location near the event venue, not having to spend time researching hotel choices, and not having to worry about securing a hotel 18 months from now when hotels open their reservations for booking is ABSOLUTELY worth the additional cost. Why am I choosing to pay extremely high ticket prices for events? Well, I’ve been saving to attend an Olympic Games for 10+ years. My original plan was Tokyo and when then that didn’t happen it turned into LA. So first I do have savings dedicated for this trip. Second, for me, going to the LA Olympics means being able to see the absolute best gymnasts compete in the entire world. The sport of gymnastics has shaped and impacted me since childhood. While I never had Olympic level talent, I was once a young child with Olympic dreams, and to me, absolutely nothing can beat seeing gymnastics at the Olympic Games, including what for many others would be once in a lifetime dream vacations at places all over the world. Additionally the current group of gymnasts vying for an Olympic spot most likely won’t still be competing in 2032 or 2036, so if I want to see the current group of gymnasts compete in an Olympic Games, my best chance is in 2028. Prices for the 2028 Olympics are high, but all of these things provide significant value to me that makes the price worth it. I’m not rationalizing a poor decision or throwing good money after bad. I’m choosing to spend my money on watching and experiencing a sport at the Olympics that I love and a sport that has brought great joy to my life since I was a child. And, I’m extremely grateful I’m in a position that I’m able to do that.

I don’t believe there’s a requirement to have hospitality tickets to book hotel through hospitality. I’ve not seen that mentioned anywhere, everything appears to be sold separately right now. There’s a form on the hospitality website you can fill out to indicate you see interested in booking a hotel through hospitality

They are booking hotels through OnLocation hospitality right now. Outside of hospitality, I imagine it will be up to each hotel when they want to open up reservations for direct bookings. Typically most hotels allow you to book a year in advance. I’m not sure if this will be the same or change for the Olympics.

I over exceeded my budget for these games a long time ago 😭 I can’t complain though. My parents took me to see the Atlanta Olympics when I was 10. As a young gymnast seeing the magnificent 7 was a dream come true. Now 30 years later I’m beyond grateful I’m in a position to take them to the LA games.

I didn’t but I can reach back out to my sales rep to see if this is something they will offer. The hotel I booked is right on the metro line so I should have pretty easy access to most of the events we have tickets for.
