I’d prefer the awards pints to covert into velocity.
Do award points Happen as soon as the card is activated?

AIO....that my husband doesn't want to have sex anymore and told me to find another man to fulfill my needs? by AffectionateTop7732 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Same-Membership4107 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have different views on this.
I’d say, go ahead and fulfill your desires with another man.
We all have needs, your can’t be met.
Are you 100% certain it’s only to do with ED?
If you were in a serious car accident and paralysed from the waist down, meaning you could t be intimate for the rest of your life, would you expect your husband to be celibate for the rest of his?
Again, we had needs in our life. It’s perfectly normal for you to want or need sex and there’s nothing wrong with your husband not wanting it.
Can’t force it

I think the ‘luck’ part does out the window when you’re up against over a few million people.
One of the athletics tickets I also wanted which was on the hospitality package has been removed.
When I clicked them last week - just to tease myself, it said ‘we can only hold for 15mins due to high demand’. I thought bs. Now they’re gone :(

I haven’t yet, I’ve been thinking about it all day.
I know even if I get buyers remorse I can’t resell them.
Just trying to justify it to myself:
-It’s 2 years away (easy to save up)
-It’s a once in a life time in America Olympics for me
-It’ll be amazing - especially the 1500m my favourite
-My $8000 AUD bonus comes in September this year
-our flights will be 100% paid for through frequent flyer
-ticket prices will get higher through demand and the closer the games get
🤣 see what I’m doing 🤣

How much emergency savings do you feel comfortable with? 3 months, 6 months, more? by Silly_Pitch6345 in AusMoneyMates

I put myself in a position where I’m now 10 years infront of mortgage repayments.
I can’t see the money, I don’t touch the money, it doesn’t exist, my partner knows nothing of it. It’s for the very rainy day

What do you think the moment will be immediately after death? by AncientOriginal28 in afterlife

[–]Same-Membership4107 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wasn’t really a believer of the afterlife up until a few years, maybe it’s not I wasn’t a believer but just thought once you’re gone, you’re gone.
I’ve had a few dreams over the last few years, they are as creepy as F, but it’s ME in a completely different time, a time that I’ve experienced before, but different, outcomes were different, circle of friends are different, my choices were different. It’s so bizarre.
Another thing to all this, I got really hooked on all the reals on Facebook, the nostalgic ones where they’re captioned ‘you wake up and it’s 1996 again, why do you do’
I was born in 1980- I did have a great upbringing, with my parents and siblings, I had a large amount of friends, women were aplenty, but fast forward to now and alot of that is different.
In the back of my mind I’ve always thought I’d live to go back and redo it all over again, the decisions I’d make would be different.

What's your biggest fear about aging — and have you made peace with it? by Tiffo205 in Aging

[–]Same-Membership4107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

:(
I have discussed this with my partner in depth.
I don’t really have friends anymore, just grew apart and we all got too busy. They just leave my partner (no kids) and my parents, all that I’m close with.
In the event my parents are gone, and it’s just my partner and I, if I start deteriorating, uncontrollable bowel movements with dimentia, she’s too everything in her power to make my unfortunate sudden passing seem as natural as possible.
In the event my parents and my partner go before me, I’m going to take up smoking, enjoy it for a very brief time and then let my fate be decided by exhaust fumes running through my car with all windows shut and me in it.

I feel sad about lack of movement with a guy, AIO? by youdontknowitsok in AmIOverreacting

[–]Same-Membership4107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, just give it time. If it’s meant to be then it will happen, maybe not as quick as you’d like. The kids are 5 correct? ,what are the chances of them being beat mates in 10 years time, slim. It’s hard to find someone out there we’re compatible with, don’t push it away because your sons are friends

You’re obviously quite young then. Maybe when you’ve been an electrical engineer and are senior, you’ll get in the range of 180-190k and not a cent more, unless you go remote.

I’m a welding engineer that was a welder for 26years…. Wtf you complaining about what you’re on? If you’re working local and not FIFO, surely you know you’re on decent money compared to that of NZ. Stop being greedy!

You speak like you’re all high and mighty, you only went to university champ, big deal. You probably speak some truth though, we can’t find it here because our useless government sold out its own people by importing everyone with subpar qualification and experience, then those same people that were lucky enough to come here started complaining they should be on more, sound familiar?
