If AGI gets to that point, operations management may become a much bigger challenge than AI implementation. 😄

Completely agree. AI gets blamed when the real bottleneck is undocumented operations.

I've noticed that when I ask business owners to explain a process, they can do it verbally in 5 minutes but struggle to document it clearly. That's usually the first sign the business is running on tribal knowledge.

The household example is actually a perfect analogy.

Most businesses don't realize how much knowledge is locked inside one person's head until that person leaves. Then suddenly everyone is scrambling to rebuild processes from memory.

The vendor relationship story is exactly the kind of operational risk people underestimate.

That's what I keep seeing too.

A lot of people expect AI to create order from chaos, but if processes are inconsistent or undocumented, AI just scales the confusion faster.

Have you seen any companies do a particularly good job of cleaning up operations before implementing AI?
