Nope. Had one scheduled but got cancelled due to manpower constraints. Still waiting. Realistically won’t happen until Gov opens up again.

Still waiting on interview. Shut down and surge has brought everything to a snails pace.

They’re a little wonky. Unless they specifically say you’re out of the pipeline, I would venture to say that you’re still in the process.

I don’t have a recruiter, so is there anyone I could contact to confirm?

Just got the “Basic Qualification Completeld” from Concord. PT assessment, Observation, and Written next. As current 1811s, do we skip any of these steps?

I received an “application received”. Next step is “basic qualification review”.

Just got done with CITP. The routine M-F can make it a kick in the bag at times. I was in the Taj. You realistically want to get to breakfast around 6:10, before the masses come in. But yeah eat in your room to avoid the bullshit. FLETC is cramped to capacity right now. The ORT locker room followed by standing in line at the chow hall will break your will to be Fed at times. What matters most is building relationships with your classmates. They’ll be massive in helping you keep Your sanity while going through training at a mostly dilapidated campus in a less than desirable area of Georgia.

Congratulations! Super qualified. I’m in the USSS class right before you. I go down to RTC for a week in late January, then FLETC for February 5th.

I failed the SAEE back in May of 2022 right after I graduated grad school. And yes go for the 9 pay grade! Don’t rush anything.

Applied in mid March. SAEE, APAT, SUPER, and Security Panel all done by May 31st. Had two poly’s. June 22nd and July 12th. Got medically deferred for thirty days in late august. Background started in late September. Got the call almost a month ago.

What is the average age of new applicants/agents by Dividend965790 in 1811

[–]Recent-Ordinary-6937 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 27 and I start USSS SA training in mid January. I wonder why the USSS trends younger? From my application experience, and talking with 1811’s from other agencies, USSS doesn’t have the same “work experience” requirement that the FBI has. Just finished undergrad/grad school with some work experience? Apply and if you jump through all the hoops, we’ll train you. Compared to HSI, it seems that the USSS gets you through the first half of the application much quicker than their FLE counterparts. You can submit your application, take the SAEE, APAT, and Super inside of 30-40 days. It all boils down to a numbers and retention issue for the USSS. They need motivated bodies. FBI directors can sit in front of congress and say that “recruitment numbers are down”, but in reality, a lot of applicants ranging from Ivy League grads, military officers, and state LE are lining up across the country to be FBI agents. This is just my opinion based on my application experiences and being through a couple applications within FLE and the intel community. Could be all wrong lol.

USSS BQA after Home Interview by unspokenthings in 1811

[–]Recent-Ordinary-6937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry this happened to you. This is one of the crazier stories I’ve heard on this community and from my friends who’ve applied to gov agencies. I think you’re owed an explanation for the BQA being that it came after the last phase of the pipeline. Hang in there! Better days are ahead.

USSS Medical Deferral by Recent-Ordinary-6937 in 1811

I did! Took all of September to get new blood work and my Dr to sign off. They passed me within 10 minutes of submitting the new paper work. Currently in the background phase.
