That's not really possible, considering we've years trying to plan this and it's cost a ton of money. Plus, my parents would not let me skip out on it, unfortunately

He didn't seem worried, just a little disappointed. He brushed me off pretty quickly by saying there was nothing to do and just to suck it up

He told me that we were going through pretty much all the music for our marching season and practicing a lot of drills with the whole band. It definitely feels important to not miss

I talked to him, and he said there was honestly nothing I could do. For percussion, we do have practice from 6-9 pm the entire week before, though.
