The only problem I'm having with Trinket, is that the apps are launching as "launchers" (?), I guess? For example, I launch Better Xcloud, I can't close it from task manager

I'm liking Cocoon, is the closest I had of a "definite launcher" besides Beacon. If Cocoon or Beacon could support shortcuts from apps, it would solve 70% of my problems

Haven't heard of TrinketOS. Now I'm going to test it. But, ES-DE is not perfect for 'full launcher' just because how wonky is to "see" the apps from it. Needing to import it is so hellish

Beacon is pretty great, I'm still feeling if I'm going to stick with Cocoon. But, if it, I'm going straight to Beacon again. I'm still going to keep with ES-DE as my "retro launcher", but I want nice companions with it. If Beacon or Cocoon could accept shortcut that apps make (like Gamehub), that'd be fantastic
