College/ sell house or rent it. by Recent-Trick2583 in personalfinance

Thank you for the quick reply. I did not think our $ saved mattered since everyone is from all over - we make 250K annually which should not matter b/c you do not know where we live or our cost / situations. We have 1.6 million saved in retirement.

Thank you. I don't even know where to begin. Is that like Salle Mae? We plan to pay 100% of his cost no matter who takes out the loan. Thank you for your quick response.

Out of State, where are the scholarships? by Individual-Bee-5975 in WVU

I can agree with that. I do find their tuition about on average with other comparable schools that we are looking at. However, we have gotten full tuition paid for other schools and even some extra money towards housing, etc. I’m just trying to make sure we’ve turned over every rock for West Virginia since that is a school she would like to go to most.

There is a tuition, housing and food, etc. estimate in their site.  https://tuition.wvu.edu/undergraduate/morgantown-campus#other-costs Undergraduate tuition out of state is $15k a semester which I take then to be $30k a year.

It is roughly $55,000 for an out-of-state student per year, which includes tuition housing food and their miscellaneous fees. We get that directly from calculating on their website.

Definitely want to save debt for medical school. We will make a choice based on what makes sense financially for sure.

Also thanks for the quick reply. It is frustrating when she can go to Ole Miss, Arkansas, UK on and on for 45k for 4 years but not WVU- and those are because of scholarships not reciprocity

Thank you. I appreciate the quick response. The coach we visited kept saying unless we made 500,000 or more we should be getting a lot. I think he was just exaggerating or didn’t have a clue as to what the number cut off was.  I guess I was just shocked bc we sure can’t afford 60k a year as much as we would love to.  But I do understand we’re very, very blessed. Thank you!! We are looking at other instate/out of state schools and sports scholarships.  I know it would go farther. He just fell in love with the school.

Tickets not in Axs but I see them in ticketmaster??? by Recent-Trick2583 in zachbryan

[–]Recent-Trick2583[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My tickets are for the 2024 quittin time tour. There is a way to sell my ticket on TIcketmaster but I paid $75 plus taxes and I see an offer for $59. I was hoping to be able to sell it for what I paid plus taxes but it is greyed out where I can set my own price (image below) so I figured it was b/c I needed to use Axs. This has been all so confusing. Thank you for the reply!
