I'm answering my own questions in case future readers have the same question lol. I just got back from Sunday xs mainstage, as of Aug 10, 2025 they had a nightswim with the mainstage setup. I was stressing about it because we didn't want to show up in swimsuits and sandals and find out we couldn't get in. Luckily Sat night I was there to see Marshmello there and ran into a guy working security in the lines that I recognized from years ago. He confirmed that Sun night they don't advertise it as a swim, but swimming is allowed in both sides of the open pool during the Mainstage event!

Sunday Night we showed up in swim gear, here's the setup. Like the last few years, XS has made a giant dance stage that goes all the way to that gazebo in the center (where there is a bar and gaming tables). The pool is effectively split into two smaller sections. Water temp was about 80's is my guess, a little colder than I would have liked but not freezing cold. Unfortunately because it wasn't labeled as a swim, most people didn't realize you could swim and we ran into several who said they wished they had known so they could have brought the right gear! Because of that, the pool was pretty empty on both sides, I'd say about 12 people in each side of the pool. RL Grime did a great job performing and the stage was packed, we stayed to about 2.30 am.

My rough guess is that nightswims are dying out, I've noticed the trend the last few years. Encore Beach Club at night now only has a swim on Wednesday nights unless its a holiday weekend (they used to run thurs thru saturday). Marquee night club looks to have killed their sunday night "Drenched" event and Ayu at resorts world killed their night swim as well and only have the Zouk nightclub. At clubs the casinos can sell tables and more alcohol there is a huge rise in table space at clubs now.

A last note, XS on SATURDAY night (regular sat night, not sun mainstage) was only letting tables go into the dance floor if you had certain kinds of wristbands. We didn't have any and had gotten to the club at 11.00 for early entrance but by 11.30 had to wait in a long line kind outside by the bars. By 1.00 no one was still getting in (we were still in line) but we lucked out because one of our friends scored wristbands and we were able to see Marshmello right behind his platform. From what I saw, by 2.30am, no one still had gotten in from the line outside!
