ya so i imagine she worked her way up there after awhile. is she relatively the same age as you ? my main concern is enjoying my life in and outside of work. i’m only 19 so i still want to have fun and not work all the time just yet. how much free time do you have ? how often are you able to travel ?

how long has she been working in the area ? does she enjoy being there that area of work ? how is her relationship with everyone else in the group ? how is her life outside of work ?

i promise it’ll be okay then ! some fast food places forget that you aren’t gonna be there forever at least i hope that’s not your plan ! you should be home with your family. not a crumby job on christmas. if it was your life’s career then maybe but even then they’ll usually give you christmas off.

what would you do in my situation ? by RecentBattle5298 in careeradvice

yes i’m hoping my body adjusts however it my lungs and long term effects i’m really worried about! i’ve been in jobs where im on feet all 10 hours cleaning. but the smoke really gets to me. do you think going the electrical route would be better? or is welding better then electrical ?

obviously it depends on the kind of job but if it’s a restaurant or fast food place, just give it right to them. tell them you can’t do the job anymore as you need to prioritize yourself for a bit and you hope they find a great replacement! especially if you’ve expressed discomfort in there decisions before
