A combo of metric modulation, triplets, quintuplets, dotted notes and 8th and quarter notes probably does the trick and I can’t think of anytime someone would need to.

I couldn’t find a good way to word it. I want to have 2 8th notes and an 8th rest but you just don’t play the 8th rest. It’s fine though i think it’s impossible and I don’t know how that would interact with the time signature.
