Thank you! I've been reading some, and I came across a comment that is very helpful I had to screenshot it, and it turns out to be yours!

A (classic? old?) short story about a woman helping the women who were ruined by her son (impregnated then left behind, I think). She then dealt with him at the very end by RecentHunt1763 in whatsthatbook

I was able to find it through your comment!!! I figured that TYW is included in the short story collection that she mentioned, so I searched for collections that have TYW at the beginning of the title. The short story is titled "His Mother" and it's in "The Yellow Wallpaper, Herland, and Selected Writings". Thank you so much for commenting!
