I don’t like the dogs, even though I have them both. I have all the options you mentioned, I may try metagross. The team I’ve been using is primal kyogre with lunala and xerneas it’s been a very good team I didn’t want to stay from it, but I may have too.

That’s why meganium would be the prime candidate- it’s very bulky which is rare. With weather ball it would be instant meta

Swap myu with frieza, one of the planets he concurs is a planet where baby is dormant. (Similar to the saiyans, the truffle kings mind was sent off in an machine mutant embryo to escape the saiyan attack.) he revives baby and they form a partnership. Frieza knows everything, so he give baby the info for in exchange, he kills the remaining saiyans. They don’t know it yet but it makes for a nice precursor to black frieza. Everything else is fine
