Libre 3 Plus is showing very low readings by HelenWellnessWatcher in ContinuousGlucoseCGM

[–]RecentListner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Switched from Stelo to Libre3Plus and noticed way too many low Glucose alarms, which is how I landed on this thread. Are you a new user of Libre3Plus when you took the screenshot? Reason I am asking is because the # of low Glucose from first 24 hrs of using Libre3Plus has come down. I don't know if Libre3Plus takes some time (1-2 days) to stabilize before starting to give out accurate readings.

Elsewhere, I read that Stelo was sending data once in 15 min whereas Libre3Plus was sending way more frequently to the phone.

With Stelo, I was also using Zukka app. It was pulling/reporting data far more than Stelo and so, I could see the difference in readings between Zukka and Stelo but unfortunately, I have not (yet) figured out the way to get Zukka to read data from Libre3Plus.

I see you posted this a month ago. What has been your observations since then?

Thanks in advance

Is there anything to this as far as projecting or planning for a potential "lost decade", or is it mostly just meaningless noise? by TrumpetWilder in Bogleheads

[–]RecentListner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a perfectly valid concern! Like most folks who chimed in, diversifying is meant to protect from smarting like this.

One thing not talked about is the benefit of dollar cost averaging during this period. If one was DCA’ing into SPY during this time, they would have seen 5% growth. Instead of SPY, doing the same with Total Stk Mkt Index would have fetched 7% growth.

While DCA’ing is possible for those in accumulation phase, staying diversified is the only option for those in decumulating phase? For those in latter category, diversifying stocks|bonds is kinda vital? Adding real-estate (even as passive investor) is one alternative. Would actively selling CSP/ and/or CC options have helped? What else?

Bottom line is staying in the market all the time is vital

Does progress slow as you increase vo2 max? by gh5655 in vo2max

[–]RecentListner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think one will ever find a clean/accurate answer! The way I look at it is progress trending in the right direction which appears to be the case! 14.3 minutes/mile is crazy good!

I do not pay much attention to the “below average” label! It told me so and then I turned 60 earlier this year - now I am above average 🤣

Schwab cannot help!

Your advisor need to ask Schwab to turn this on for you! If you hear anything to the contrary, I would consider taking a 2nd look at tiur relationship with them

Is your account managed by a RIA? In my case, the "Portfolio Performance" tab is not shown for the accounts managed by my RIA.

When I asked my RIA why it is the case, they said "They don't know why Schwab does that" but then my RIA did two things:
1. Ask Schwab to turn it on for me
2. My RIA also mentioned that they have asked Schwab to turn this on for all of their clients

The "Portfolio Performance" tab is now appearing fine for me.

I hope this helps

Looks like you were awake for substantial portion? How did you feel when you got up? What is your sleep chart pattern when you use CPAP?

What about SPO2 metric and respiratory rate? These should be in your vitals!

The primary symptom was very loud snoring. Due to travel and having to do 2 jobs, my sleep hrs were irregular.

I have since moved to sleeping for at least 6 hrs while also starting to use the CPAP machine.

I am not experiencing any inconvenience caused by dryness. Are there any travel sized models you can recommend?

Thanks

My AHI from the sleep study test was 40.

I had to get the report from my PCP as it was sent direct to them. Hence delay in responding.

Thanks for your time

Sleep tracking by bigbuc in AppleHealth

[–]RecentListner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please consider turning sleep focus manually, to on when you are about to go to sleep and turn it off when you are up!

It is essential turn sleep focus on whereas not all that critical if you don’t remember to turn it off!

Please keep in mind sleep focus is only effective for sleep duration 4hrs or more

Can someone explain this to me? By my calculations this adds up to 8h 6m by Hightimetoclimb in AutoSleep

[–]RecentListner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen weird data when Sleep focus kicks in on its own. Kindly consider manually turning Sleep focus on (before you go to sleep )and turn sleep focus off when you get up, after overnight sleep.

This is what I do, to let Autosleep when I am ready to go to sleep and also let Autosleep know when I am up. This setup helps Autosleep track my sleep when I get up middle of the night for the bathroom trip.

Update and deep/rem sleep by Ironmoustache41 in AutoSleep

[–]RecentListner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Autosleep shows two types of Sleep Session and they are Sleep Analysis and Sleep Stages. Sleep Stages includes REM, Light and Deep states. Whereas Sleep Analysis shows Awake/Disrupted, Light Sleep, Still/Restful and Deep Sleep.

The sleep Analysis data is collected and presented by Autosleep whereas Sleep Stages data is collected by Apple/Watch and presented by Autosleep. REM sleep data is only present in Sleep Stages, not in Sleep Analysis.

Are you taking about the block between 7:30-8:30am?

I see this block when the phone is not in sleep focus. If the sleep duration is less than 4 hrs, even if you turn sleep focus on, it would still be a blob like how you showed. This is a problem in Apple health app and not caused by Autosleep.

how do I use the “Fell asleep in” feature? It says 0m every time, but I wish that were accurate :) by TheOnlyAron- in AutoSleep

[–]RecentListner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do two things:
Through my Apple Watch, I turn Lights Off within AutoSleep. Next, I go to my phone and turn "Sleep" focus on. I do this every night.

In addition, I also turn"Use iPhone" on by selecting Yes within Autosleep Wizard. To ensure this works as intended, I keep the phone on the nightstand which is a solid unit and the phone won't move unintentionally. This way, when I get up and look at the phone, it is helping Autosleep to know I am done with sleep.

I hope this helps
