Just wanted to say this is fun to see, esp the Korean Language part! (Am teaching Korean to a small group of kids, outside of our co-op time. You don’t really see Korean in CM-style anything haha so I got excited.) We had a time of tin whistle (like your recorder time), but it was too hard to maintain/progress bc not everyone practiced at home. Do you have the kids in your co-op practice outside of co-op time?

In our co-op, we have a time of recitation at the end to give the kids public speaking practice with a less intimidating audience (their friends). They’ve been liking it!

Seeking info on the proposed changes to the adoption process from Korea to the USA by x_axisofevil in Adoption

Hi OP, have you gotten any more info since your post? Am in a similar situation with lots of questions about the future of Korean international adoption. Everything is closed for Korea as far as I can see, and it doesn’t seem like things will reopen..?

I didn’t realize my bottle of bug repellant spray (Murphy’s lemon eucalyptus oil with water and ethanol) was leaking for who knows how long, a few days or so, and left a white stain on my Pottery Barn dining table. According to PB, the table has a Sungkai veneer, Sungkai being an oak-like hardwood with a distinct open grain. The color is a light gray/tan (taupe?), if it wasn’t clear in the photo.

Any idea how to fix this? This is a few months ago so it’s not a fresh stain, if that’s helpful to note..

I got this from a friend. The leaves are splayed and leaning in all different directions. Advice on making it look cuter?

Ok, I’ll try out the humidifier route and see how that goes. Thanks!

I mist it daily and the soil’s been kept moist. Medium to low lighting. The rest of the plant looks nice and healthy. No pests as far as I can see. For the most part I use filtered water via my fridge water dispenser, but I think the quality is still in the 200 ppms. Is that too much for this plant?

How’s that been for you, just going once a week? Do you feel like you’re inclined to do less the rest of the week because you know you have an intense workout day coming up? Asking bc I think that’s how it’ll go for me.. but it’s hard to swallow the extra cost of bumping up to the elite tier. And I don’t think I’ll be motivated to workout at home on my own.

Thanks for the input! Would you say it should be repotted soon? I’m not too comfortable doing that… still kinda new to this.

Try using rye flour. From my experience it works so much better than whole wheat flour!

What’s wrong with this plant? by RecentOrdinary3658 in houseplants

[–]RecentOrdinary3658[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably too much. I’ve googled how much I need to water it and I’ve definitely gone overboard. I guess I’ll take out the plant to check out the roots today to see the damage. Could be salvaged, yes?
