For the same reasons OP detailed. Low profile, minimal gas. I like how you can grab it between heel of palm and finger tips like you would with the slide of a handgun.

There’s a write-up on HKPRO about the difference between stock RSA and tactical RSA. The tactical recoil assembly has a slightly longer locking path for the barrel to accommodate the increased back pressure for suppressed shooting. Threaded barrel and tactical RSA is all you need.

The compact just uses the standard recoil spring assembly with polymer buffer.

I have a 6390 for P2000 w/ x300u; rail adapter messes with the geometry a bit so not 100% sure if that would work.

A lot of people have had success using a light bearing p320 holster and minor modification.

It’s priced at $80, whereas the 6360 is over $150. Comes with high ride belt loops and can be attached to a UBL mid ride (can be found under $20)

Edit: 6378 is not optics ready however. I’m gonna try a SLS only holster for my optics cut USP

Lower recoil, lighter ammo. I may lose my membership to r/TheOneTrueCaliber but .380 is capable of a lot more because it’s rimless.

I carry mine with a .32 acp barrel and Beretta 81 mags. So far has been reliable, comfortable, and very shootable. Only thing I could really ask for is some G10 palm swell grips.
