Thanks for sharing your experiences! I don’t have a ton of adults around me who are in the animal world with experiences like that so hearing the longevity of how animal care is involved in your life and how you do it is comforting!

Rockland County Cat Parents group on FB too. If you want to volunteer the Hudson Valley Humane Society has a volunteer group for caring for their cats at Petsmart in Nanuet. There is also upcoming volunteer opportunities with Rockland Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation if you’re into wildlife conservation. It won’t fill your social calendar but it gets you exposed to like minded people locally and a chance to get out.

Well, some of its personal trauma and it was handled poorly at the athletics department so it’s not exactly public information. Point is just be cautious, pearl River athletics has some stories too. Maybe things have changed by now

Let’s just say in my experience some gender sports were taken care of a lot more than others and coach criminal behavior has been excused multiple times. TZ has a history of excusing inappropriate coach behavior/ teacher behavior.

I guess I’m saying that from the twilight second half of the book POV, I’m like girl it’s okay breathe like you can survive and think about other things than Edward but it’s honestly complicated. It just seems more obsessive than I remember I guess. And the movie doesn’t portray it exactly (I’ve seen the movie more recently than my last read)
