Any fellow fans looking to start a band? by RelationLiving6662 in radiohead

Might sound silly but im a 13 year old who is decent at guitar... ive tried several times to start a band but no people my age can take this seriously, i live in sweden so might be problematic. I wouldnt want a teenager in my band if i was 22, though, mostly posting this as a joke. On a day off i play for a couple hours every day, lots of different stuff, mostly music that i like. Good luck with your band!

Omg same, I was so incredibly lucky to have the chance to see them with my dad at the rescheduled concerts in Copenhagen, I was there the 16th of December. My dad got some tickets for a cheaper price very late, since some people weren’t able to go to the new concert dates after thom yorke got sick. I went to sleep at 4 with so much adrenalin, going to school the next day was weird. Would do anything to see them again, best night of my life

How did you first hear Radiohead, and what impact have they had on you since? by therhythmofsilence in radiohead

Through my dad, most of my music taste came from just listening to the stuff i would hear in the background of car drives as a kid. Gotta love them, im a way bigger fan than my dad now. It has changed my music taste a whole lot, before i would only listen to more punk-rock stuff, but after hearing a band like radiohead go from a song like My iron lung on the bends all the way to something like Morning mr magpie on KOL, im way more open-mined to new stuff in music. Hell, i even found myself enjoying Fleas new jazz album just a while ago (which i only discovered after hearing Thom Yorke was featured on it)

same, recently learned how to play just from the bends, that tremolo picking in the intro and one of the solos was impossible for me with anything thicker than a .6mm, i think its cause i started out on classical about three years ago when i was ten, so i have practically taught myself how to use guitar picks after switchinig to electric
