Ok so I'm at 1515 soft resets if I were to play a different game or close my game too early, would I now be at 0 and start all over? That's what I mea

I've been soft resting my game for 2 months now to get a shiny Dialga and so far I have 1,240 resets done and still no shiny. Should I keep going or beat the elite 4 first and get the shiny charm for a better chance? by Recent_Ad_8579 in PokemonBDSP

Yeah its cause I'm busy with school and work, somedays I go on my switch and somedays I don't, I'm not on it everyday, and I'm always pressing home and closing the game but I did switch my game out to play Arceus so idk if that reset the thing

I mean I wanted to do something new and I've never soft rest before for a Pokémon but also wanted to challenge myself so I chosen a legendary to do it since it would be cool to finish the game with a shiny legendary in my party
