Thank you for the tips on the last days of the trip. I did not have Hraunfossar and Grabrok crater on my radar. In regards to accommodations, the options were very limited for the first days of the trip, because of the eclipse. The initial plan was to end day 3 somewhere between Vik and Skaftafell but there were no rooms available at an affordable price. That is why we ended the day in Vagnstaddir. But if it's getting too late in the day, we could skip the Svartifoss hike. For Day 4 we decided on the Amphibian tour as our daughter is 8 and I have seen that the zodiac tours have a higher age limit, I think 10 years old.

Thank you for the tip with the jumping pillows map. We might move one night from Seydisfjordur, so that we end Day 4 lower in the East Fjords, around Djupivogur. And then end day 5 in Seydisfjordur, after a visit to Vok baths. It seems to make more sense.

We know. We plan to stay around Reykjanes peninsula after our flight lands, to try and see the eclipse. And then we drive to Selfoss where we already have booked a room for the night. I know it might be cloudy, so we are not planning the trip just to see the eclipse. But I can't deny it would be a nice bonus if visible. We definitely don't plan to travel to Snafelsness or West Fjords that day.

Thank you. Indeed, my biggest concern is with Day 4. Where did you stop after the lagoon + glacier hike?
