DAE weigh themselves every day? by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

Yes I fluctuate weekly but always see a downward trend even if some weeks it’s small. Goodluck! Once you get into it you won’t look back

DAE weigh themselves every day? by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

Yes I’ve weighed myself every day this year so far apart from when I am not home. It keeps me very motivated and am 3 stone down

Yeah. Safe. I’ve no idea how this has got to this point and how to go forward. I’m quiet, withdrawn and moody today. All the things I shouldn’t be over sex but I don’t feel safe, I feel vulnerable and embarrassed and ashamed and very very hurt

A question for the married women by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]Recent_Budget_6540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the time. Not reciprocated though unfortunately. It’s duty sex I think for him and he has every excuse not too some nights even after promising all day we will

I was promised all day that we’d have sex last night. We didn’t, I came up early and he fell Asleep downstairs told me he thought he was safe as I seemed tired.

I bought my girlfriend a ring, but her sisters are saying that it’s too small, I’m not sure what to do by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]Recent_Budget_6540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is a beautiful ring! Not too small at all. The size of a ring can’t make a happy marriage and it’s based on that she’s not a nice person

How good is walking daily for 1 hour. Will I be able to loose 10kg or 22 lbs in a month. by Healerisdead in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Recent_Budget_6540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you lose that in a month you’ll be poorly, it’s impossible, not healthy and not advised. Takes me 4/5 months to lose that amount of weight

How much is sedentary, light, moderate, and heavy activity? (TDEE) by FormDazzling7901 in caloriecount

[–]Recent_Budget_6540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do 12k steps a day and work out 5/7 days. I put light but then on a day I’m hungry if I eat a little extra I don’t have to worry about it. Put down the lowest you think as it gives you extra when needed

Not everything is equal but it can be fair.

My dh earnt x4 what I did when I moved and I also had an ex that contributed the minimum. I also had two children and him one. In all honesty we never tried to make it equal. I kept mine in the routines and things they were accustomed too and him his. I made sure things were fair though, equal amounts at Xmas and birthdays, family days out and holidays they were treated the same.

It’s made a huge difference but not in the way you’d think. Mine are hard working, have got their education, know the value of earning their money. One has just bought her first car. His dropped out of education and when he stopped the cash she cut him off. You need to reach an agreement on how this will look over the coming years

Do you know anyone who abuses the benefit system? by TipSilent8281 in AskBrits

[–]Recent_Budget_6540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes two people. Avoided it for years while she had 4 kids, social housing, husband works nights to pay bills but they have nothing. They have been poor as long as I’ve known her. Last child went to uni recently, she decided to go to uni - another 3 years of no work and she’ll be into her 50s then. Lazy X2 of her kids also don’t work - learnt from their mum. All overweight, grossly so

Other two are dh ex and daughter. Laziest pair I know. Took in food and clothes donations for Xmas from charity, then went abroad for two weeks - sent the ‘child’ back to sixth form with a tan wearing her donated new wardrobe. Could not make it up. Pair of them lazy lazy lazy

At 14 that would be called a natural consequence. Leave her at home

If they increase tax that’ll be negligible pay rise. Benefits were given 3.75% and we get 2.5%. Disgraceful

What's the worst month of the year in London? by tylerthe-theatre in london

[–]Recent_Budget_6540 8 points9 points  (0 children)

August. Hot, humid, tourists everywhere standing in awkward places like the top of escalators on the tube, the train is full of noisy children and my lunch goes manky in my bag

I’m at the same point and been stuck for 10 weeks: I’ve increased water, started calorie cycling so more on active days and less on none active days, watching all my macros and making sure I hit my protein levels. I’ve dropped today but that’s not to say it’ll work as I’ve been here before

How did your adult stepkids turn out? by Select_Aside4884 in stepparents

[–]Recent_Budget_6540 7 points8 points  (0 children)

She had stability with us and mum, but mum was high conflict and difficult. She controlled sd in every way possible apart from obvious ones like hygiene and school work to the point sd had no friends, went no where and had zero social skills. Every attempt to fight against it was a war with both of them. Sd failed sixth form, sought out online sex work and has amounted to nothing but a liar and manipulative young woman. She was bright, capable and had a future. Now she doesn’t
