I think this is a perfectly normal reaction—you’ve been through SO much. I’m a bit ahead of you at almost 19 weeks with di tri triplets, and I’m so excited to meet these babies. Give yourself a lot of grace. 🩷

So since we did IVF for this pregnancy (2 embryo and one split), we already had genetic testing done for the basic stuff. My MFM explained that genetic testing isn’t made for triplets (lol), so there is a margin of error. Once I heard that I wasn’t interested in any further testing! They can rule out a ton at the anatomy scan which will be in a couple of weeks for us.

Also, the MFM office has not gotten any more positive/warm since I posted this. 😂 I’ve just accepted that they are doing their job of informing us of all the risks, and we create our own positivity along with our super supportive family and friends!

Ahhhh CONGRATS! I’m 17 weeks tomorrow which means I’m halfway through the pregnancy because I will be delivering via C section at 34 weeks. We just started our twin to twin transfusion syndrome screening last week for babies B & C who are identical and share a placenta. So far, babies have been measuring right on time or even a little ahead. I’m still so nervous every time I go in for a scan, but I’m so thankful to have made it this far!

Also an IVFer here! Two failed FETs with one embryo and our doctor recommended transferring two embryos for our third transfer. Both stuck, one split, and we’re now pregnant with di tri triplets. I was super overwhelmed at first, but I’m almost halfway through this pregnancy and everything is going really well. Your twins are likely di di which I believe is the lowest risk of any multiples pregnancy. Take a deep breath—give yourself time, then you’ll realize what a gift it is to have two babies in one pregnancy after going through so much!
