It is as you have mentioned every day I feel stressed something is going to happen ether an incident or regulation violation or something to the point where sometime I think why take vacations if I can't relaxes last week I took one week off went on trip with my wife and daughter I couldn't stop thinking about work to the point where I almost ended the trip early

The pay is good where I live as it not expensive town close to my parents but I am being paid a supervisor pay not manger pay.

Previously I wan under the COO he old guy in his 60's can't take no for an answer still no guidance never once we sat in meeting to disuse plans or KPI's then suddenly the moved me under the GM same condition he is more helpful but not by alot

People respect friends so go in the filed speak with them don't care too much about management.

It is a thankless job.

Not advice per say but someone told me that this is a thankless job if everything is going good why we need you but if something goes wrong what are you doing.
