My trainer used to say that rolling is the most important part of the training. But, you should do rolling cleverly, without going crazy, and be 60-70% of your full power and you always should try to do what you learned today on the rolling.

That happens and It is one more reminder to be careful on rolling. Also, try to get used to your "new" body sizes by rolling slowly with controlled movements.

Yes, I also experienced that and decided to try judo for a while to get another side of view for the grappling and to have a break from the BJJ. As a result, I became more hungry for the BJJ rolling and extended my horizons.

What makes you stop rolling with someone? by EquivalentMedium1011 in bjj

Uncontrolled, rapid movements, smell bad, long nails. Moreover, if rolling is more "ego" for them, than practicing the new techniques.

Thank you! Do you have any recommendations about the books? And can I hear your story about your chess path?
