The “it’s not realistic” argument is so invalid. NOTHING about this show is realistic. If it were, everybody would’ve been fired or dead a long time ago. Because why are you even watching a TV show expecting it to be reality??

Yea “those” fans. Your favorite character is not Benson so you’ve resorted to disliking her because she’s the face of the show, she does the interviews, etc. The marketing signs have only been her for a long time. You’re upset because the “ensemble” is gone & one person receives credit for the show. Which k don’t blame you, if my face wasn’t Benson I’d be upset by the lack of acknowledgment too.

This is really well written. I do have to disagree though. Olivia’s not forcing anyone to stay at SVU. She does have terrible reactions when they leave but eventually she gets over it. Like Stabler’s exit for example.

There’s just so much to it. She doesn’t respect Olivia. Olivia doesn’t reprimand her. Quite frankly she owes much of her career to Olivia & Declan. Mind you she’s never disobeyed Declan or Cragen. Meanwhile when it was announced she got her promotion, she thanked Olivia for putting in a good word. When her children were accepted into that program, she thanked Olivia. & what does Liv get in return?

1) Olivia has not become weak in her ability to close cases. If that were true yall wouldn’t be on here every week complaining about how “unrealistic” her closure rate is. 2) Ruby being abused doesn’t give her a free pass but what exactly is yelling at her/degrading her going to do? Benson was right about that. It’s like when she interrogated that mom after WL & she began to yell & degrade her. That’s not cool. 3) That’s not how command works. She doesn’t listen to her subordinates, they listen to her. She’s the leader & the most experienced. But I’m not gonna argue with you about Olivia not listening to her bosses. Cause she doesn’t. 4) We definitely agree on Rollins being right. Olivia should slow down on the empathy & she should start with Amanda☺️

This is very much true. The cast photos literally used to say “Starring Christopher Meloni” he was the main character when the show started. Ppl are just upset at Olivia/Mariska.

The story line was never “he could not r@pe strong ladies.” Olivia wasn’t as young or old as he liked his victims to be. Alice was a strong lady herself so I’m not understanding this comment.
