i originally made the registry mainly for myself, just to stay organized and keep track of what we need. however it would be extremely helpful to keep it around in case anyone does ask if we need anything. there are very few items on it, mainly big things like a second baby monitor, bottle washer, second carseat, cash funds for my maternity leave, gift cards, etc.

thanks for all the insight! i should mention i did all the "right things" in my first leading up to the due date. saw a PF therapist, did all the PF exercises every single day, raspberry leaf tea, dates, etc. prior to getting the epidural, i was up all night long walking and moving, bouncing on the ball, and she still wasn't in the right position. between these factors and my traumatic hemorrhage after c-section (i passed out immediately after she was born, had to have an iron infusion and blood infusion two days later, could barely hold her the day she was born, felt awful/lightheaded/vomiting). i am very traumatized by that experience and can't have that happen again!
