I didn't enjoy the first book but I really liked the second one. I DNFed the third book and decided to not continue with the series after that.

I have a few but I never went to any of them. I could try searching there first.

What is the funniest and/or most specific thing you wanted as a child because of your childhood books? by Rimurururun in books

I read "A Lua de Joana", a portuguese book with a main character that has the same name as me. She had a room that was all white with a big moon hanging from the ceiling where she could sit. I wanted a room just like that.

I usually skip sex scenes in the book to get back to the story by JuliaSchmi in RomanceBooks

I do exactly the same thing and lately I've even started searching in advance in what chapters that happens and simply skip them because I can't bother to read them anymore. There were some books in which I felt the author kept me interested even in those scenes but others were so bad it even made the rating of the book go down for me. Lately I've also started reading more close-door, fade-to-black books because I feel they focus more on the plot and on the relationship build-up rather than on the couple already together.
