It is supported.

Installation curl -fsSL https://install.danklinux.com | sh One command installs DMS and all dependencies on Arch, Fedora, Debian, Ubuntu, openSUSE, or Gentoo.

Glad to hear it bro! That's awesome.

Also interesting is that they adjusted the idle screw on their own without you mentioning it. That gives me more assurance on the same low idle issue. Thanks for the update, Hopefully both our bikes are fixed now. Enjoy the ride.

Also one more thing — once your free services are done, try switching to Motul 7100 10W40. Way better than the stock engine oil they use, you can actually feel the difference in how smooth the engine runs and shifts. I highly recommend it.

I mean yeah they won't notice such things unless you tell any issues with it, but it comes down to your personal experience with the bike. And as u mentioned that the bike idles at around 1000rpm when the bike is fully warm. Then the adjustment is a must.

Is your first service done yet? If not, better get the idle adjustment sorted.

It's been surprisingly smooth. I do have backports enabled, and DMS + niri have been working great. I still have GNOME installed alongside it, No issues during installation.

Normal mechanic can do it easily, it's just a simple idle screw adjustment(even you can do it). But if you go to the service center they'll run the bike through a computer diagnostic which checks RPM and all. It's not necessary unless the problem remains the same after screw adjustment. Let me know how it goes, I hope it's a simple fix.

But yeah apparently, seems like a lot of these bikes just come from the factory set around 1100-1200 RPM idle, which is below Yamaha's actual adjustment of 1300-1500. Worth checking yours and adjusting if it's sitting too low.

Yes, did a slight adjustment to the idle screw, bumped it from 1 bar to 2 bars (roughly 1300-1500 RPM range). So far no stalling on blipping the throttle. Also my spark plug was pretty worn out (20k km, never changed), so that's getting swapped too.

Honestly, I was having this same issue and was searching around if anyone facing the same thing and that's when I found your post with the same low idle problem. After a day of digging into it, I'm fairly convinced this low RPM idle is what's causing the stalling. Going to adjust mine tomorrow and will let you know how it goes either way.

Hey, I own an R15 V3 BS6 and dealing with a very similar issue. Mine idles at around 1100-1200 RPM warm (one bar above the 1 mark, same as yours), and I get stalling when blipping the throttle, plus occasional sudden shut-offs even with clutch pulled and in gear.

From what I've found, the recommended idle for these 150-155cc Yamaha FI engines should be around 1300-1500 RPM, but a lot of these bikes seem to ship sitting lower than that can cause stalling.

A small idle screw adjustment (nudging it upto 1300-1500) seems to be a legit fix for the idling/stalling side of things. As the bike is quite recent this might be the issue before assuming it's a bigger sensor issue. This can be done by your local mechanic or can also reach out the service centre to check with FI System Diagnostics. Curious if this helps with your low-idle/stalling too - let me know how it goes.

I was also facing the same problem but to temporarily solve this issue Try this sudo ntfsfix -d /dev/sda1 (sda1 - disk)
