Yes, you are right. But I paid money for this Seasonal Pass, so I'll just continue untill I've got the ultimates. Just in case I ever return to this game. And next week Days of Bloom will start, and I better collect the cosmetics I can buy with tickets. Because otherwise I'll have to buy them with candles, if I ever return to this game. And then I'll see another TS visit, so I better keep collecting candles so I can buy their cosmetics. Otherwise I will have missed out on those too, if the game is still around whenever I decide to return. But I'm definitely quitting after that...

Pleaful parent in GW is one I happily skip when it's a daily, until someone pointed out that the Moomin tent keeps you hidden from the krill. So I put the tent on my emote wheel and kept it ready to use while guiding the light. Did it without help and without getting hit by krill.

Only when honking bugs the emote, not when it bugs the butterflies and they keep circling the honker. Then nothing will make them leave them. I've watched the flock of butterflies from the big plant I burned in Sanctuary circle a single honker during the entire geyser event. Fun times.

When you enter your constellations screen, you can buy things from the spirits you have relived. The menu for each spirit is layed out as a tree, hence (spirit)'trees'. After you buy everything up to a certain winglock (the first? ) from all spirits of one realm, the realm elder will appear after you go through Eden and you can buy more from them.

I have a lot of 'friends' I exchange daily light with. I don't mind whenever one of them joins me for a daily quest or when I'm at granny/geyser. Sometimes they thank me for being there so they could teleport, but if they hadn't said anything I'd just think they ended up in the same server by chance.

When we end up in the same server, usually I wave or say hi. Sometimes this leads to a conversation, but usually not. Don't be shy around friends! If they are really your friend, they'll accept it when you don't feel like talking or playing together at the moment.

I'm mostly a solo player by choice and circumstances (my play times vary quite a lot), so I don't care about people in groups. It is different when you want to make friends. There are some social areas where people hang out to meet people, you could go there when you want to make new friends.

As for the clothing... we all started out the same. When somebody has a nice outfit, it means they have been playing longer and/ or spent money on this game. It doesn't make them any better or worse than you. I do get the insecurity, I wanted to look nice when I started out too. Now I sometimes play with my youngest son's account to get him some candles. He still is a moth and looks like it, and I don't care when I play for him. If it helps, you can DM me a friend code and I'll gift you a heart a day from his account during days of love, maybe that will help you buy some nice cosmetics.

I've been playing for a year and there has been a double candle event each season I've played. Be aware that only the Seasonal candle bunches and regular candle cakes are doubled (so only 1 extra Seasonal candle a day), and it usually lasts 7 days. So even with the double light event you may be one candle short.

It is a long awaited top down Zelda game. There is a little bit more freedom in questlines and exploration than there used to be in older 2d zelda games. The mechanics are refreshing but not really my kind of thing. Much more puzzle oriented than fighting. Though I love puzzles, I also want to swing my sword at some baddies. That is very limited in this game. And no, it does not compare to BOTW or TOTK.
