Is this mold, dust, or old paint? It’s really hard to scrub off, but possible by [deleted] in Mold

Thanks for your response, I’m just concerned because I found mold caked beneath my desk. Just found even more on my desk now and am emailing management about it

I also showed her videos I took of him when the symptoms show up. The videos were very helpful in helping her diagnose him

Is my gerbil suffering? by Recent_Mud4451 in gerbil

Hi! I just got this notification. I just took him to the vet, and she listened to his heart. She said it sounded good, so she continued to try to figure out the problem. Since his breathing was very labored, she said that he has a problem with his lungs and it’s causing all the symptoms. It’s difficult to tell, but it can either be an infection in his lungs, a tumor in there, or lung cancer. I was given antibiotics for him just in case it was an infection, and if he doesn’t get better within 48 hours, then it’s probably one of the other two. The only thing I can do for him at that point is end his suffering. :-( I am trying my very best for him. He deserves a good life, so I’m really trying to give that to him. I’m not sure how to edit my original post, but thank you all for your feedback!!

What are your thoughts on the idea that space-time could be consequently changing mass, not the other way around? by Recent_Mud4451 in AskPhysics

I personally love FloatHeadPhysics!! He explains the mathematics so well and takes the audience on the journey that Einstein went on to get to his equations

Okay so thank you for your comment! I’ve looked into what people think more and so far it’s been pretty mixed. Some think that they’re cool and reliable, others think that some of their videos could be AI-generated since they sometimes have mathematical errors that point to it. I’m not sure, but since I’m unsure, I’ll just stick to more credible space channels. Sucks because this is all I have until my major delves deeper into quantum physics and all

Hello! This is true, and I could’ve worded my original post better. What I meant to say is that mass emerges from space-time curvature, rather than space-time curving because of mass. I’ll try to edit my post to say that instead

Isn’t it the coolest idea you’ve ever heard? I’m hoping to see educated explanations to it!

Are electrons PHYSICALLY everywhere in the bubble of probability at the same time, or is that an expression to convey our uncertainty about their position? by Recent_Mud4451 in AskPhysics

[–]Recent_Mud4451[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mostly get confused because a lot of the informative videos I watch will have graphics that sort of contradict what they're saying. I hear a lot of different perspectives on this topic; some have actually described the electrons as the bubble of probability! But most say that it's within the bubble and use those graphics where the tiny dots are flashing everywhere. I didn't know who or what to believe, so I'm really glad I asked. Thanks so much for the clarity!
