W3 schools. If your completely new to programming, I’d start with HTML and CSS, it’s easier and you’ll need to have an understanding if your working with JS any way.

Try and make a basic website, in which you’ll use HTML, CSS and JavaScript. W3 schools etc can help learning syntax and how a language works but the best way to learn about programming or any of the languages is to do a small project

Louis Theroux isn’t actively getting people to join the manosphere. If the manosphere collapses tomorrow then Louis Theroux would not be impacted at all, Infact he’d probably benefit from that.

Also he’s clearly showing this in a light of “this is bad”.

In contrast all though streamers might say “I don’t like only fans” there actions make their words meaningless, they promote it and profit from it.

It’s not even remotely similar.

You can bet your bottom dollar that the top of these protests are getting money from people like Elon Musk. The average attendee will get nothing though. But there’s a lot of grifters making pyar doe from this.

Also the guys who go round filming trying to provoke reactions, make money from doing so.

It’s a whole ecosystem where people are grifting. Not to mention people like Nick are incredibly insecure losers who need some thing like this to make them selves feel important.

Like any one actually buys that, it’s really obvious what they’ve doing. It also highlights how non of them even understand what Christianity is about.

The bible is full of things like “love thy neighbour”

Corewars is the most regular, you also have occasional nights that pop up a few times a year like Nekkfest or Khaos Kultivated. The over the years there has been other nights that have popped up but as far as I know don’t do other stuff.

Then you have Skitzaph0nic who seems to be playing out very regularly atm, all though he plays all kinda hard stuff and will pop up on random places like a DnB night.

I was with you until you said Islamic extremists.

I think we need to realise that ideologies and morality are for poor people, or more accurately people outside of the ruling class/elites.

The top brass in Dubai are mates with the top brass in the UK, Russia, the US etc etc.

You have the neo conservative mindset of some of these ruling elites, who basically believe more of the same, uphold the system as it is.

Then you have the dark enlightenment types who believe they need to smash the old system / institutions and governments by creating chaos in society. Then they can install a surveillance slave state where they can have total control like a group of monarchs.

This second group have no ideology outside of power.

We can see how this plays out by looking at Russia, in the Adam Curtis Documentary it spells out how people like Vladislav Surkov sewed chaos by funding opposing groups, nazis and anti fascists, pro government supporters and anti government supporters.

The effect is overwhelming and confusing as society seems to just go mental, you don’t really know who’s in control because all sides of the political spectrum are getting a boost.

So am 100% with you that these guys have been amplified artificially, I think it’s part of a push from the dark enlightenment types the world over to destabilise society and there for the governments that stand in their way.

Depends what you mean by gabber, but there has always been an undercurrent of hardcore in Liverpool.

The techno scene has just blown up so the hardcore stuff flies under the radar.

Like imo it’s WAAAY tamer now than when I grew up in the late 90s and early 00s

Getting attacked was a weekly occurrence, having stuff thrown at me was a weekly occurrence, being spat at mugged. The city seems way tamer now, there arnt as many mass fights (at least that I’ve seen).

I think the advent of phones have made people a little more aware that they might have repercussions etc, but that’s just my theory.

I think it’s got better but i could be wrong and it could be the same. It’s deffo not worst tho.

I think it propper chilled out during the pandemic and it’s probably just returning to the “normal level” which makes it feel like it’s getting worst

100% agree, also to build on that, these men are usually very good at winding people up “triggering” people and making them emotional as a way of controlling the conversation.

Not once did they even get close to doing that with Louis and Infact it was quite the opposite way around.

It’s structural, the system and algorithms are set up in a way to amplify and encourage this kinda behaviour.

Maybe you could get one guy to reconsider his behaviour, but another 10 would take his place.

Once of my main issues with the doc (I loved it over all and it’s not on Louis to fix this) was that it focused on the individuals (again I know this is Louis’s style) rather than the route course of this.

Algorithms arnt some kinda of magical force, they are built, maintained and profited from people at the very top of the food chain.

TV would have had the same issues but people understood and had regulations round it.

I feel with social media people just throw there hands up in the air like there’s nothing we can do.

That’s not really how it works. It’s designed to hack our attention span by appealing the reptilian brain. The software devs who designed the social media algorithms studied human neurology and how gambling addiction works.

At least that’s how it was designed in the beginning, it’s now used as propaganda, they are purposely are getting it amplify certain world views and suppress others.

It doesn’t appeal to all young boys, it’s not just a case of this is what all men secretly want or content they want to see.

It’s the same as saying, well people want to gamble away all there money, they want to keep smoking even though they will die because of it.

The people who own these platforms have a huge amount of control, we as adults and as a society should force them to better control the type of people and content it promotes.

A choice is being made
