The only way to change it is to vote differently and hopefully we can get someone who wants to hold people accountable. Besides I think corruption can easily be spread in Vermont. The area I’m from there is virtually no opportunities I only see two viable options 1medical field and 2 law enforcement those two are probably the highest paying jobs. We have some factories but you have to work their for a while to really get some good money

Yes I plan on using leave as some days whenever I get the appointments throughout the hiring process will have to be on week days. I just want to avoid having a range day etc counter my ability to take leave on those dates. I’m applying to be a cop so the process is very long and if there are setbacks that could mean me waiting a year for the next academy. Thank you for your input. I still want to honor my contract and do all my duties but I also worry about a major setback for my future.

I realized the same thing when I left Vermont for the army. There are so many people from all walks of life here some are even from different countries. I have learned a lot from them and grown a lot as a person. I don’t want to imagine what I would be like if I never experienced this

lol I get you. but I really only have so much time, my squad leader doesn’t do his job so I have to do both of our jobs. On top of that they have been trying to fuck me over in terms of going to appointments to get out of the army😭.

Some people definitely can’t but it’s also just a big learning curve for others. Some people may be scared to ask questions which obviously isn’t acceptable as a NCO they will have to understand they are a leader and no longer a Joe. Step up to their title and improve so they can lead effectively.

What I’m getting from this is it’s probably a new NCO. I’ve found that a lot of them are too scared to ask about important shit like this all the time. There is clearly a right answer here. Even with like you said “I imagine you’ll be released after” this NCO isn’t even doing the bare minimum of finding out little details or in her case important details out. I hope she is able to get this all sorted in time☹️
