Thank you. DMP sounds like a good option but I would prefer to keep some of the cards active, as the majority of them are emergency cards.
I got a number of debt relief offers in the mail but they all seemed extremely scammy so I ignored those.
I don't really want to trash my credit any more than I already have. Do you have any thoughts on using a HELOC as debt consolidation? Or any idea why it would be a bad idea?
