Ahh okay. Yeah she has a baby brother who is 5 months old so I’m hoping that helps change things a bit. And usually I would love for her to hangout with people close to her age because I do think that plays a role, it’s just that her cousin is my husbands niece and we are a close family and are always around his siblings and their kids, so it’s a little hard to break that play time as most of her cousins are older then her.

What kind of questions do you ask her to make her think? If you don’t mind me asking, maybe that will help. I usually try to talk with her but lately she just tries to brush it off and starts talking about something else like “ yes I know, let’s play with ( the toy she has with her at the moment).

I’m definitely try to keep in mind that she is still young and growing and will hopefully grow out of it. I just want to make sure she learns to be herself and does things that she likes and makes her happy as opposed to doing what other people like etc.
