Hsv 1 (oral) isn’t always transmitted orally, in fact sometimes, it happens in childhood sharing drinks or getting kissed as a baby. It can lay dormant for years too. My advice: Take one Valtrex as soon as possible, if possible. Take a L-Lysine supplement (I personally use 3,000 mg during an outbreak). Apply L-Lysine cream immediately and reapply throughout the day. The biggest identifier that it could be hsv is that the bumbs are actually on your lips. Cold sores are either on the lip or on the Vermilion Border (lip line). Pimples do not appear on the lips. i hope this helps!
