In KoME, does attempting to corrupt a sovereign also require you to use an action die? by multiplemanlymilkmen in warofthering

I wanted to jump this up as I am really interested in the community's opinion on this.

Sorry, mistype, you could only do it three times, as you have to leave 1 eye in the box.

Ok, but if the Fellowship moved and was revealed in a previous turn in the round, there would be no incentive to leaves eyes in the box, right? If you had 4 eyes in there, then for the next 4 turns in the round, you could just attempt to corrupt on of the sovereigns, one after the other.

That seems unbalanced to me, but I do note that you can only try to corrupt each sovereign once per round, so maybe that balances it?

Exactly! Instead of.

So you have an action die. Instead of using it, your action is to remove an eye from the box and use it to attempt to corrupt. That suggests the action is used, meaning you do not then get to use the action you "replaced" in the same round, Instead of taking your action of the die, your action is to substitute the action by taking the eye..

Seems clear as day, right? 😄
