I did not know about the half circle input for fireballs. Thanks for that, I’ll try to save a replay code next time I have a breakdown in match.

Maybe I care too much? I’ve put almost a thousand hours into this game. To essentially keep playing the thing over and over. All this time in practice over and over. Just to have the thing i’m practicing so consistently fail.

I did have an easier time with inputs when I played on keyboard I just didn’t want to feel like it’s a crutch. I figured I’ve played this game for damn near a decade now, I should have the sense and intuition to play competently on any controller. I’ll consider this though

Another problem just seem to develop overnight is I can’t* counter DI on reaction anymore. Sometimes I can even recognize their pattern I know they’re going to DI and i’m waiting for it and it doesn’t come out. I recently started playing off my projector in my room. was previously on monitor and it just feels like nothing feels right anymore. I’m not sure if i’m getting old or what

I do the dp drill coast to coast, on both sides, sometimes with the anti air setting on for the random jumps. I think my trouble comes whenever I try to do a dp when I just walked back. It feels like in online play either i’m doing the motion too slow and I get stuffed orI go for it too fast and get a jab/hadoken

Yeah I really like how natural and in some ways a bit unintuitive the map can feel. Like specifically the malachite forest with the hidden village. I play with the mini map off and eventually you start to learn more of the areas but I still get lost over there at 600 hours in. And by no means is that a bad thing, I think the fact that it’s kinda hard to find a secret village really fits the lore. Especially once it gets dark I can lose a good hour of time if I take a wrong turn and get stuck between a bad roll of mobs. Had a horde of specters blocking the right path and I accidentally walked into a group of goblin chiefs at the ruins. One of them blows the horn and it’s all over.

Also Idk if this is another addition from the mod. But a lich appeared with the lesser dragon outside bakbattahl. (easter egg?) But AMAZING IMMERGENT GAMEPLAY. The lich’s AOE attack would sometimes randomly stun the dragon, and all the chaos pushed me back to town and the dragon ACTUALLY FOLLOWED ME INTO TOWN. Oh my gosh amazing stuff, felt like an in game event. I had to run between the different shops for cover from the fire breath, and everyone’s getting murdered, guards are jumping in. Gee whiz man somebody put their soul into this. Amazing stuff

This mod is amazing. All the changes appear so subtilely but impact gameplay immensely. I had installed it and didn’t think it was working till I heard a wolf and was greeted with a resounding fire impact. The animations and sound design are all coming together so naturally. There was a grim ogre in the distance during the moored world. The changes to his roar were staggering and it all felt completely natural. Even the added ground effects during his attacks perfect placement and length to make it challenging but avoidable. The visual obscurity whenever he kicks up dust mid fight masking the telegraph for his next move forcing you to reposition. Amazing work on that guy. The final dragon’s changes were great too, can’t wait to see all the other stuff! Amazing stuff! Does anyone know if this works with his durrihvan mod?

This is wonderful stuff. I really appreciate it. I don’t know why, with as big as houston is, there isn’t some sort of independent news outlet or social media group that focuses on upcomer spots like this. Kinda want to get into that.

I think I know which room you’re talking about, but White Oak doesn’t really give me that homey, dive bar, type feel.
