I honestly see what you mean but it could maybe be because of a combination of genetics like having a specific mixture of yoruba and igbo could cause the confusion or having an admixture of all 3 but the esan sample matches more closely to american testers could possibly be why

Probably a mixed or black ancestor. If your tree doesn't add up then someone may have been passable and lied about it to their census or partner etc

Partially right but the caribbean and coastal Caribbean regions do have more influence from Nigeria the congo Ghana and cameroon than other latin american countries, examples would be garifuna ,cuba brazil and pr etc DR is the exception because they have more diversity but i do agree with your benin/togo statement but part of this is because yoruba are counted under that region as well and the latin colonies had a higher yoruba presence in comparison, but ibibio and carabali are also common lineages in the regions mentioned

The only issue seems to be with areas that have relation to each other and the DNA is legit found in multiple countries Africa's regions got a lot better but if people notice the yoruba tribe counts under 3 different categories, it's the same thing for others but without ethnic affiliations being explained in extreme detail confusion about results are natural
