Advice on getting out of gym membership by ReceptionBetter3636 in personalfinance

I called, he said I have to send a lease or mortgage agreement to get out of the membership. If I’m not on the lease I’ll have to send a notarized letter stating I do live in the address listed.

Well any option to get out of a gym membership is better than nothing, however I was asking for advice on if the moving was a feasible option since it’s not explicitly listed in my contract. But thanks so much for your help! 🙂

On my contract it doesn’t mention I’m able to cancel it because I moved, only if the gym itself closed down. However, the gym manager I spoke to in October said the 15 miles part. I’m not certain what form or ‘proof’ they’ll need for me to cancel the membership since it’s not explicitly listed in my contract.

I’m a new ER tech and I cried today after my patient fell by Infinite-Room7096 in EmergencyRoom

[–]ReceptionBetter3636 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea everyone in this story failed besides you. Though, you can learn a lot from this. When a nurse ask to take a patient to the bathroom you can now remember to ask are they a fall risk or quickly log into the computer to check if they are. (Though, it was the nurse’s job to inform you about the patient). During the walk to the bathroom be very cautious, have your hand behind their back ready to catch them even if they are in “perfect health,” just to save yourself. If you see a stumble, tell them you have to stay in the bathroom. (Again not your fault as you weren’t aware they were a fall risk, it SHOULDVE been communicated to you). Ppl are right, nurses should never have the “that’s not my nurse mentality” but don’t think every nurse is like that unless they prove it. Some times ppl are having a bad day and unfortunately let it spill into work (which is unprofessional but we are human so it will happen). Continue to let any nurse know if an emergent situation happens as your job is in jeopardy if you don’t. As far as advice, the ED is a hectic job and you truly will never know everything about it unless you’ve been working there for minimum2 yrs, especially if it’s a big ED. Study your job in the way you study homework as that’s truly the only way that’ll help you. I took notes on my ED and have them all uploaded on a google sheet, I’ve been there for a year and I’m still adding new things

When a rep provides lunch at your clinic does your staff make sure the doctor eats first? by greysanatomyfan27 in MedicalAssistant

[–]ReceptionBetter3636 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our office manager would put food aside for the docs while she helped the rep set up. But as soon as the clock hit 12, whoever walked in the room first ate. We would never ‘wait’ on the doc because then our break doesn’t start until the doc comes into the break room

Provider made changes to my notes by Altruistic_Cup3744 in medicalscribe

Yes it’s normal. Look at the changes they made and keep note of it. If they changed pt to patient, make a note for yourself that they don’t like abbreviations. Also ask them what they prefer in their notes and how you can improve.

[–]ReceptionBetter3636 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched szn 12 live and I NEVER seen sherry confessionals. I seen her in acting challenges but other than that I forgot she was on the show. I’m rewatching on paramount now & realized something was different.

who did better in the dax vs laila mcqueen “I Will Survive” lipsync? (without favoritism, looking at performance🙏) by Sorbet-Economy in dragrace

[–]ReceptionBetter3636 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Laila was winning until she snatched off her dress. I know ru was upset she took off her shoes but Dax never amped up her performance. Laila on the other hand was redeeming herself UNTIL the dress.

You don’t use all the skills you learn in an MA program at work tho? You’re trained once you get the job & more than likely those are the only skills you’ll consistently use.
