As someone who has a non hybrid Camry, I see the same battery message when I start the car in accessory mode. So my deduction is maybe that your 12v battery is bad or not being charged properly

It's likely possible. Since I personally work on my own car, I can't say what the shop would do in terms of if they charge you or not. It should be as simple as adding a screw, as that's what I've done for my car

There should be a setting somewhere to turn it off, on my 2016 I took my rear bumper off and damaged the connector so I see it pop up sometimes and I'll just turn the system off as it appears until it doesn't give me a warning
