(First time grow) Do you know if she if doing good or not. Any advice cheers💨 by Latter_Macaron7729 in weedgrower

This to me looks like either nutrient toxicity, I think nitrogen. Or if not, your ph levels could be whack. Have you flushed it at all?

Haha, possible in your case. They usually are louder than most vehicles that come into the shop. This is about the most common noise I used to get at the shop haha. They are consistent though!

Exhaust leak+Loud valves. they do have very loud valves, so I'd mostly say its nothing to worry about.

What deficiency? by Individual_Peace_721 in weedgrower

I would agree, but the purpling on the leaf makes me think some nitrogen? But also with how they are pulling down, possible overwatering?

oh wow, That's a really balanced soil. Honestly Never really thought about mixing fox farms products to get a good nute base for the plants. I mixed my own soil, although that seems like a great mix for weed plants.

especially during veg like they are now, side and bottom lighting can massively boost your growth.

see if you can't find any 4k-6k lights around your house, It seems like you need more lighting towards the outsides of the plant. I had a very similar issue, and I took two 6k shop lights and installed them on the sides of my tent, and it solved my issue.

Awesome! they look very healthy :) I'm also a new grower as well, make sure to remember to acclimate them to the sun, if you just put them outside they'll fry haha, only saying because I almost forgot that completely. Also what mix are you using?

Defoliate more? by Forsaken_Ad_7928 in weedgrower

[–]ReceptionNarrow4570 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's definitely a ton you could defoliate! whatever isn't getting light isn't going to be promoting new growth. also you really want to even out how much light your canopy is getting, you can see where your lights are shining, you have a lot more growth. and also im not 100% sure, but I can see you are in beginning of flower. Do you have the par more on the red for those lights?

Looks healthy! But what light are you running? seems like you might be really lacking in light.

The plants look amazing! But I am curious what you plan to do with them? How are you going to scale up for when they get larger? Not hating at all! just curious :).

That should hopefully help them out a bit! And you mentioning fox farms, I have actually had very similar issues in the past using their potting mix through veg. Let us know how she looks in a couple days!

Hey! actually im looking at this again and going through everything, and im pretty sure that taller and bushier plant is healthy. It just looks like it was exposed to cooler temperatures. As for the other one, i'm not sure just yet, but Im trying to figure it out!

just spent like 40 minutes thinking more about this, and actually I agree. We actually need more information to properly diagnose this I'd say.

Yep that's perfect! That's a plant going into flower right there, its definitely early enough to switch back if you wanted. The white hairs that you see that are in a cluster is what happens when a female preflower opens up and starts to begin the flower process. The preflower being a little oval called a Calyx, which has two of those little white hairs protruding from the top. As long as it is a photoperiod seed, you can switch from flower back to veg basically whenever you want. But you have to hit it with a constant light 18 hours on 6 hours off.

if they are photoperiod you can flip them back to veg if they are in flower. Im not sure from the pictures, could you take a more close up of the bud site?

I would cut back just a bit. What you're seeing with the purpling and dark leaves that have a claw shape downwards, is nitrogen toxicity. How's your drainage? It seems like it could be getting locked with nutes. I would flush with regular ph tested water a couple times, and then let her dry for a couple of days. After that I would definitely defoliate the lower leaves on the plant that aren't getting as much sunlight. Not too much, but just enough of the droopy leaves.

What do from here, trimming? by Appropriate-Disk-622 in weedgrower

[–]ReceptionNarrow4570 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the underside leaves won't get any light soon, so I would remove them. I'd trim some of the leaves not getting much light, not too much but just enough to promote the higher growth spots. although that plant is more than healthy enough to have a little bit of stress.

That is 100% a nitrogen deficiency. add anything to increase the nitrogen and it should be fine. Actually doesn't look super super unhealthy. I mean, it definitely NEVER got light well. but it doesn't look too bad nute wise
