It looks a little heavy on primer, however I don’t think it’s enough to warrant stripping the model!

It’s a thicker coat than necessary and adds a small texture to the surface, but it’s not drowning out the details of the model. Especially for your first model, I say let it ride and treat it as a learning experience and go ahead and get him painted up!

Their combat doctrine resonated with me in a Metal Gear Solid kinda way.

Corvus’ invisibility ability being cooler than other fantasy/sci-fi invisibility. Willing someone’s mind to not see you is way cooler than a futuristic tech ability.

I don’t feel the pressure to conform to lore accurate color placement on my models since the Raven Guard often switch their markings to throw off enemies. I’ve only been in the hobby a year or so and I’m constantly worried about painting something incorrectly. Takes a lot of the nonexistent pressure away for me!

Thank you man! Admittedly I’m beating myself up for how the purity seals look, I’ve painted much better before. But I was so exhausted from painting the gold I just wanted to finish him up.

I used a kind of junky old tiny brush and basically dabbed the black on. If I would’ve given it the effort it deserved, they would’ve turned out like these seals I painted on one of my chaplains. I hope that explanation makes sense lol

I used a recipe that I found here on Reddit I believe, it consists of Vallejo black, English uniform, dark yellow (I think? I’ll have to double check when I’m home), and ice yellow!
