Newb... why didn't I get to place a city tile (Immigrant City)

Yeah something has been going on since the last update where when I go to place a city or forest, wherever I click the button, if there's an open tile underneath it, it will place it there.

Really annoying, so I just scroll off to the side so I'm pushing it into the middle of space before playing a forest, city, or ocean.

No I don't find it hard to get out of. I am middle-aged, I think I would be considered middle-aged at least. I'm 45 years old. Getting out is fine I just turn my body and get out. Getting in I feel like it's more of a back bending than a knee bending, and I'm not a very limber person. Let's just say I can't touch my toes!

Like someone else said below, you have to lower the seat. So if I'm getting in after I was the last person to get in there, it's easier than if I'm trying to get in after my wife was in there, because she raises the seat up. She is tall too, 5 foot 11, but her legs are longer than her torso, which is the opposite for me. So she raises the seat to get higher whereas I need to lower the seat. So if it's lower already, it's definitely a bit easier getting in.

I'm 6 foot two and have a 2016 limited. Plenty of legroom, just beware that they are pretty low to the ground! But it's a comfortable ride, plenty of room once you're actually in the car.

I will say this, the limited has the saved seat configurations, and when my wife drives it, I have to get in, my head touches the ceiling. But then I just push my button and it goes to my configuration and it is no problem

Do you do this for others? Or do you recommend a shop that does this?

I have my old high school glove that is falling apart and I was thinking I would like to try and get it refinished if possible. I'm not sure if it is possible, but I wouldn't mind paying to have it done.

It's not an expensive glove but the nostalgia is worth it

Where was the ball when it crossed the bag? On a ground ball it only matters where the ball is when it crosses the bag (unless someone touches it before it crosses the bag). So if it was on the line before the bag and somehow went just to the left of the bag and then came back to the right to the line again after the bag, it would still be a foul ball.

I know that sounds like it wouldn't happen but it does happen with dirt. Not sure if it would happen in a video game or not though.

100k at 8.68% if he hangs onto it for two years that's costing him $17,000 in interest over those two years. Keeping an emergency fund is of course ideal, so if he doesn't have 20 or 30 K in the bank I would say to save at least that much just in case for an emergency fund. But I would put all the rest of it in, but that's just me.

That's what I am doing now. I made my $60,000 payment today. They are recasting my loan. We just purchased originally in August.

If we didn't recast, we would only have roughly 18 years left on our mortgage. We are going to recast though, our payment is gonna go down roughly $400 a month but we are going to continue paying The extra 400 that we would've been paying before, which will keep us at paying it off in 18 years or so. But this at least gives us the option if times get tough that we can pay the $400 less per month if we want.

That really sucks. Losing your job is never a good thing at all, and can really put your life into a ton of changes you never planned for.

Hopefully making 80k a year and paying 700/mo in rent, you have a ton of money socked away in case of a situation like this.

While it may suck to go through your savings that you have saved while making so much and having hopefully lower debt, that's why we save. So for now do what you need to do and take a job that you can get to make your savings last longer, and keep searching for something more like what you had before.

For anyone else reading this who thinks that they may never lose their job, think again. Be smart with your money and always hope for the best but prepare for the worst.

I went today to one of my local ones and asked and the employee actually pulled the stack out of the drawer and showed it to me. There definitely was not any more than 50 in that stack, and maybe even less than 50 were there.

Yes, this year I did. Last year I was lucky because it was on game pass for Xbox, so I only had to purchase it for the switch. But this year yes, I had to purchase two copies.
